Welcome to Idealize. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Idealize mobile application, website, and related services (“Idealize,” the “Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By creating an account or using Idealize, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Idealize
Idealize is a platform designed to help users capture, organize, develop, and manage ideas, projects, and creative concepts.
Idealize provides tools intended to help transform an initial thought into a more structured and actionable idea.
We may modify, improve, add, or remove features as the Service evolves.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally permitted to use the Service under the laws applicable to you.
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information where required and to maintain the security of your account credentials.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, please contact us.
3. Your Ideas and Content
Your ideas remain yours.
You retain ownership of the ideas, text, projects, images, recordings, documents, and other content that you create, enter, or upload to Idealize (“User Content”).
Using Idealize does not transfer ownership of your ideas or User Content to us.
You grant Idealize only the limited rights necessary to host, store, process, transmit, display, and otherwise handle your User Content for the purpose of operating and providing the Service.
You represent that you have the necessary rights to any content you upload and that your use of that content through Idealize does not unlawfully infringe the rights of others.
4. Idea Originality and Intellectual Property
Idealize does not guarantee that an idea entered into the Service is unique or original.
Different users may independently develop similar or identical ideas.
Storing an idea in Idealize does not, by itself, create a patent, trademark, copyright, trade-secret protection, or other intellectual-property right.
If intellectual-property protection is important to you, you should obtain appropriate professional advice.
5. Subscriptions and Paid Features
Idealize may offer both free and paid features.
Paid features may be offered through recurring subscriptions, including Idealize Pro or other subscription plans made available from time to time.
Purchases made through the Idealize iOS application are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s applicable payment and subscription terms.
Idealize does not directly receive or store your complete payment-card information for App Store purchases.
6. Automatic Renewal and Cancellation
Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled in accordance with Apple’s applicable subscription rules.
You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription through your Apple account subscription settings.
Cancellation generally prevents future renewal but does not necessarily terminate access to paid features before the end of the period already purchased, subject to Apple’s applicable terms.
Deleting your Idealize account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription.
If you wish to stop future subscription charges, you should separately cancel the subscription through Apple.
7. Refunds
Payments made through Apple’s App Store are processed by Apple.
Requests for refunds for App Store purchases are therefore generally handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s applicable refund policies and legal requirements.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Idealize to violate applicable law; infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights; upload malicious software or harmful code; attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or infrastructure; interfere with the operation or security of the Service; impersonate another person or organization; or otherwise misuse Idealize.
We may take reasonable action where necessary to protect users, the Service, or third parties from misuse.
9. AI and Generated Content
Idealize may provide features that use automated or artificial-intelligence systems to help users develop, organize, explore, or expand their ideas.
AI-generated or automated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or similar to content generated for other users.
You are responsible for reviewing generated content before relying upon, publishing, commercializing, or otherwise using it.
Idealize does not guarantee the accuracy, originality, legality, commercial viability, or suitability of AI-generated or automated output.
10. No Guarantee of Success
Idealize is a tool for developing and organizing ideas.
We do not guarantee that any idea, business, project, product, creative work, or other concept developed using Idealize will be successful, profitable, commercially viable, original, or legally protectable.
Idealize should not be considered a substitute for professional legal, financial, tax, medical, investment, or other regulated professional advice.
11. Idealize Intellectual Property
The Idealize application and website, including our software, interface, branding, logos, graphics, designs, visual identity, and other proprietary materials, are owned by or licensed to Idealize and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not grant you ownership of Idealize’s intellectual property.
This section does not affect your ownership of your own User Content.
12. Third-Party Services
Idealize relies on third-party services to provide certain functionality, including infrastructure, authentication, subscription processing, and App Store services.
These may include providers such as Supabase, RevenueCat, and Apple.
Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to their applicable terms and policies.
We are not responsible for outages, changes, or failures caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.
13. Service Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Idealize available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party outages, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Features may change as Idealize develops.
14. Account Deletion and Termination
You may stop using Idealize at any time.
You may permanently delete your account from within the application through:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of these Terms, unlawful activity, security threats, fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Service.
15. Data and Privacy
Our collection and processing of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
By using Idealize, you acknowledge that your information will be handled in accordance with that policy and applicable law.
16. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Idealize is provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for every particular purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection legislation.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Idealize and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Service.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including any mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Idealize evolves or where necessary to reflect changes to the Service, applicable law, or our business practices.
When these Terms are updated, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections or jurisdictional rights that apply based on your place of residence.
Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of protections that cannot legally be waived.
