Idealize (“Idealize,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, stored, and protected when you use the Idealize mobile application, website, and related services.
By using Idealize, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Idealize, we may process information necessary to provide and operate the service.
Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect information such as your email address and authentication information required to create, secure, and maintain your account.
Content You Create
Idealize allows you to capture, organize, and develop ideas.
Depending on the features you use, this may include:
Ideas and other text you enter
Images and photographs
Voice recordings
Documents and attachments
Information you voluntarily provide when using Idealize features
Subscription Information
If you purchase an Idealize subscription through the iOS application, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store.
Idealize does not receive or store your complete payment-card information.
We may receive information necessary to determine your subscription status and provide access to paid features.
Technical Information
We may process limited technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Idealize.
2. How We Use Your Information
We may use information to provide and maintain Idealize, create and authenticate accounts, save and manage user content, provide requested app functionality, manage subscription access, maintain security, diagnose technical problems, respond to support requests, and improve the reliability and functionality of the service.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Your Ideas Belong to You
You retain ownership of the ideas, projects, and other content you create or upload to Idealize.
Storing or developing an idea using Idealize does not transfer ownership of that idea or content to us.
We process your content only as necessary to provide and operate the features of Idealize, subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.
4. Service Providers
Idealize uses trusted third-party services to provide parts of its infrastructure and functionality.
These currently include:
Supabase — provides backend infrastructure and authentication services.
RevenueCat — assists with managing subscription status and purchase entitlements.
Apple — processes App Store purchases and subscriptions.
These providers may process limited information necessary to perform their services and operate under their respective privacy policies and contractual obligations.
5. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through Idealize against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Idealize, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it is processed.
7. Account and Data Deletion
You can request permanent deletion of your Idealize account directly within the application by navigating to:
Settings → Account → Delete Account
When account deletion is completed, the account and associated Idealize data are deleted, subject to limited information that may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.
Data stored locally by Idealize on your device is also removed as part of the application’s account-deletion process.
Deleting your Idealize account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription.
Apple subscriptions can be managed separately through your Apple account subscription settings.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information under applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR and other data-protection legislation.
These rights may include the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of personal data, restriction of certain processing, data portability, or objection to certain processing.

9. International Data Processing
Some of the service providers used by Idealize may process information in countries other than your country of residence.
Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers of personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
10. Children’s Privacy
Idealize is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted to use the service under applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental or guardian consent would legally be required.
11. Third-Party Services
Idealize may contain integrations with or links to third-party services.
Their processing of personal information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage users to review those policies where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as Idealize evolves or as legal requirements change.
